There are private hire options available via the website too, or bespoke times can be requested. Minimum hire time 110 minutes.

Community sauna sessions and private hires can be booked directly through our website HERE. If you want to private hire the sauna at any other time then you are welcome to make a request either via the equitry form or by emailing hello@peaksaunas.co.uk. Minimum hire time / cost for a bespoke booking is 110 minutes / £150.  

There are 3 options for private hire

£90 for 55 minutes

£120 for 85 minutes

£150 for 110 minutes

If you want the sauna all to yourself for 55 minutes then simply book all 6 seats at any of the 55 minute community sauna session times.

If you want the sauna all to yourself for 85 minutes then either book all 6 seats at any of the 85 minute community sauna session times, or select Private hire 85 minutes from the booking drop down.

f you want the sauna all to yourself for 110 minutes then either select Private hire 110 minutes from the booking drop down, or contact us directly for a bespoke date and time. We will accommodate your request where possible.

The sauna comfortably seats 6 people but can accommodate 8 when groups of friends come together and people don’t mind sitting much closer together. So, if you’d like, you can bring up to 8 people with you for these prices

If you’d like to hire the sauna space for more than 8 people and/or more than 2 hours fill in the enquiry form with as much detail as possible and we’ll provide you with a  bespoke quote. 

Please arrive 10-15 minutes ahead of your scheduled start time to allow time to park, walk up the hill to the sauna and for a quick welcome and sauna safety briefing. We suggest arriving in your swimwear and ready to sauna. Please remember to arrive clean and showered. 

• Swimwear
• 2 towels (one for sitting on in the sauna and one for drying off after the cold plunge) 
• Water bottle
• Suitable footwear for walking between the sauna and cold plunge, i.e flip flop, crocs etc
• Dryrobe or other suitable warm attire to relax in between sauna & cold plunge rounds in our social area. 
• Snacks!

This is your time, so do what feels right for you on the day. As a general guide, most people enjoy 5 – 15 minute blocks of time in the sauna (depending on how experienced you are, health factors etc) and then a period of cooling off. This could simply be standing outside in the fresh air, enjoying a light showering from the watering can, or embracing a full-body submerge in the cold plunge. Rest, relax, or get started on another ‘round’ and get back in the sauna before cooling off again. Remember to keep hydrated throughout your time and for a few hours afterwards. 

We don’t have a private changing area, so we recommend either arriving with your swimwear under your regular clothing or dryrobe, or embracing the al-fresco change under the privacy of your towel. 

No, like many wild saunas across the UK we do not have formal showers at our sauna location. Your ‘shower’ option on site is a trusty hose pipe, with cold water. There is also a watering can if you prefer.  

We ask that you have recently showered before attending the sauna for the comfort of you and your fellow sauna guests.

You must also rinse off using the hose pipe or watering can before getting into the cold plunge after a sauna round. 

Yes there are compost loos in the same field as the sauna.

In theory, sauna is for everyone! If you have a medical condition or are pregnant then please seek medical advice first. We require young people aged 16 & 17 to be accompanied by an adult to a community sauna session. We allow children from the age of 5 to attend with their caregivers at our special family friendly sessions (where we keep the sauna temperature lower than usual and provide guidance on safe sauna use for children). Look out for these special events on the website and our Instagram.

If you are pregnant or have any underlying health problems, please seek advice from your doctor first before booking in. Sauna and cold plunge can be beneficial for many health conditions, but its always advisable to check with a medical professional first. Remember, it’s hot in the sauna, always listen to your body, take lots of breaks and keep hydrated.

Community sauna sessions are non-refundable but are transferable, providing you give us at least 48 hours notice. If you give us less the 48 hours notice then unfortunately the booking is not transferable so we recommend you find some friends who can make use of your booking. 

Private hire bookings are refundable when given 14 days notice. Private hire bookings are non-refundable but are transferable up to 48 hours before your booking time. Yes absolutely. Please ensure you bring a water bottle. Hydration whilst sauna bathing is really important. There is a tap nearby where you can fill this up. There are no shops on site or close by, so please do bring snacks and food to keep you going during your time on site. Please don’t take food inside the sauna and enjoy it outside in the social area instead. 

Yes we absolutely are.  Maybe you run a wellness business or sports group and you’d like to bring your group to New House Farm for a combined sauna and yoga class, for example. We’re always looking for new and exciting partnerships so please get in touch.
